Beautiful summer moments, surrounded by friends, acquaintances, and family. One big group singing and celebrating just like the good old days, with an orchestra made up of “our own” local talents keeping the energy high until the very end.
On Thursday, August 13th, Didima truly managed to take us back to those authentic, golden times! The “Antamoma” (Gathering) brought everyone together for an incredible night—a genuine summer evening that stood out by staying far away from today’s over-stylized, superficial events full of pretense and special effects. It was a night filled with positive energy and beautiful people, making it the true highlight of this summer. The songs performed by our local musicians took us on a wonderful journey, leaving us with a shared promise… to gather and meet again soon!
Rado of Argolis: The ‘Tomato Festival’ Was a Huge Success in the Small Ermionida Village of 48 Residents
The “Tomato Festival” in Rado, Argolis, stood out this year as one of the most unique summer traditions in Ermionida, proving that collective effort can breathe life into even the smallest, most remote settlements. The Municipal Community of Didima, along with the residents of Rado and the Didima Cultural Society “Athina”, co-organized the event with the Municipality of Ermionida. Together, they successfully attracted visitors from all over the region, with the event’s turnout far exceeding everyone’s expectations.
The village women prepared and served handmade, traditional stuffed tomatoes (gemista), fresh tomato salads, and various other tomato-based dishes, as well as desserts made from pure, local ingredients.
